Artist Barry Barnett was born in 1948 in Daytona Beach,
Florida. His youth was spent fishing Florida’s salt-water
coastal flats to the black water of the Saint Johns River.
Now with Florida Black Bear and big cat hunting outside
his studio window, it is the cry of the osprey that echo
through, the wonder of it all.
Barry wants his artwork and his God given gifts and abilities
to be used to impact the world and make a difference in the
lives of Warriors and Veterans.
When asked what he enjoys painting or sculpting Barry
replies, “Life above and below the silent surface. I try to
be a witness with brush or chisel to God’s gift of life.”
Mr. Barnett’s proficient use of these medium has caused
the varied results to be described as, “Realistic–Impressionism.”
No matter where Barry goes on land to study his subject, this
artist’s signature is etched deep in his first love … the sea.
Mr. Barnett’s paintings and sculpture are part of private,
commercial, government and military collections throughout
the United States. Establishing his fine art on six continents
and having worked with humanitarian and environmental
good cause issues made Barry an artist of international note.
